Who are we?

Wood U Waste is an award winning charity formed in the Stroud district in 2009 to make wooden briquettes from local waste sawdust to help hard to heat homes . Its success paid testimony to the many organisations, community groups and individuals who worked with us. Working together makes things happen!

In the last 15 years WUW has extended its reach to work in France and various countries in Africa. Projects have concentrated on reducing waste, using natural resources such as water and sun energy to the maximum and providing sustainable food sources through care for the natural local environment.

We continue to evolve and to seek innovative partnerships in the UK with charities and community groups who share our values.
